Haddonfield’s Mike Regina, co-founder of Big Sky Enterprises, has been named campaign chair of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties Annual Campaign — the biggest fundraising initiative of the year that provides program support and financial assistance to local youth and families who need the Y most.

As chair, Regina will lead the charge to reach the campaign goal of $2 million. This year’s Annual Campaign Kick-Off Breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. March 3 at the Mt. Laurel YMCA Gymnasium at 59 Centerton Road in Mount Laurel.

“We’re excited to have Mike at the helm of this year’s Annual Campaign,” said Tim Kerrihard, president and CEO of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “Mike’s enthusiasm and passion for serving the community, along with his steadfast belief that it is better to give than receive, will most definitely motivate people to get involved with the campaign.”

The Knowles Science Teaching Foundation Executive Director Nicole Gillespie has been appointed to a three-year term on the board of directors of BSCS.

BSCS, a nonprofit curriculum study, is committed to transforming science teaching and learning through research and development that strengthens learning environments and inspires a global community of scientifically literate citizens.

The BSCS board of directors is composed of educators, educational researchers, scientists, and business leaders from across the country.

Gillespie leads KSTF in its efforts to strengthen the teaching profession by empowering teachers to become agents of educational improvement.

Jenna DeSantis has been hired as the new social events specialist for the Aloft and Super 8 Hotels in Mount Laurel.

DeSantis will assist in all areas of sales, event planning, catering and execution for social events and parties at the Aloft and Super 8 including, but not limited to; weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, birthday parties, proms and reunions.

Regional sales and marketing manager Meghan Lafferty Goins has been promoted to the new position of vice president of sales and revenue for Willingboro’s Delco Development, LLC.

Goins will direct all areas of the company’s hotel division sales, marketing and revenue efforts.

“I am beyond excited for this role,” Goins said. “With the teams we have in place, there is high anticipation, for outstanding successes in 2015 and years to come.”

Edward T. Molinari of Mantua has been installed as the 2015 president of the Southern N.J. chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Serving Burlington, Gloucester, Salem, Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland, Camden, Monmouth, Mercer and Ocean counties, the chapter encourages local real estate appraisers to earn Appraisal Institute professional membership designations and promotes competent and reliable appraisal services to the property-owning public.

Molinari is president of Molinari & Associates, P.C. in Woodbury. He has been an appraiser for 29 years and specializes in the valuation of land, easements, and properties involved in litigation.

Rhonda R. Feld of the Moorestown law firm of Sherman Silverstein has been appointed the chair of the Burlington County College (BCC) Foundation Scholarship Committee.

According to BCC, the foundation “oversees a comprehensive scholarship program for students. The Foundation Scholarships are funded by generous contributions from area corporations, organizations, and individuals.”
