Michael Razzano, 49, of Browns Mills, and Sean McNaughton, 41, of Medford, were pronounced dead at the scene of the 5 p.m. crash in Southampton, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Razzano was driving a Volkswagen Passat that hit a bus carrying the Lenape Regional High School girls swim team, two coaches, and the driver. The accident occurred at Pemberton and Ridge roads.

"The crash occurred in the lane where the bus was traveling," said a State Police preliminary account. It gave no other details of the crash, which occurred on a rain-slicked road.
