Camco youth jobs program gets grant

A Camden County job training program received a $264,000 grant to continue helping young people who have dropped out of school get their GEDs and find a path toward meaningful employment.

A Camden County job training group received a $264,000 grant to help young people get their GEDs and train for work.

The Camden County Council on Economic Opportunity got the grant from the Camden County Workforce Investment Board for its Youth Achievement Program, which serves youths ages 16 to 21 who are no longer in school. The program offers classroom training toward high school equivalency and work experience with local employers.
