Local Wants

HALL OF FAME

•The South Jersey Football Coaches Association will induct 11 individuals into its Hall of Fame on June 28 at 6 p.m. in a ceremony held at Masso’s Caterers in Glassboro.

There are six honorees. Haddonfield coach Frank DeLano is the selection for the high school coach category. Former Palmyra great Derek Holloway will go in as the pro player choice. Dave Maxwell, for distinguished service. In the “Legends” category, Audubon grad Bob Rickenbach is in as the pre-playoffs choice. The Selverian brothers – Rich, Jeff, Mark, Greg, Arthur and Kirk, who played in a span of 16 years for Pennsauken – will be inducted for the post-playoffs era. Don Olsen, a well-traveled assistant through 1981-2002 and Timber Creek’s head man in 2003, will be get in for the assistant coach slot.
