Wanted: Willingboro clerk's killer

Courier-Post

MOUNT HOLLY - Authorities say a convenience store clerk has died after being shot in the Quick N Go’s parking lot.

But it’s still not clear what sparked the shooting of 32-year-old Matthew Mwinsori, which was reported around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Burlington County prosecutors say the gunman entered the Willingboro store on the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. He was inside for just a short time before he and Mwinsori walked into the parking lot.

Police responding to reports of shots fired  found the Willingboro man wounded in the nearby street.

Mwinsori was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

No arrests have been made. Willingboro Police and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect. He is believed to be a black male wearing a black mask that covered half of his face, red sneakers, and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt under a gray hooded sweater or sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Willingboro Police Department at (609) 877-6958 or Burlington County Central Communications at (609) 267-8300.
