Police: SJ Walmart cashiers stole thousands

BURLINGTON TWP. – Police arrested two Walmart cashiers on charges they stole several thousand dollars from their employer.

Karlmichael Curry-Watson, 24, of Willingboro and Dontay Jones, 23, of Edgewater Park were arrested Saturday afternoon at Walmart on Mount Holly Road in Burlington Township.

A Walmart internal investigation found Curry-Watson took more than $20,000 from a register over several months while working as a cashier, police said. He was charged with theft.

A Walmart investigation also determined Jones stole more than $6,000 from a register over several months, police said. He was charged with theft and possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

Both men are free on bail; Curry-Watson posted $5,000 and Jones posted $6,500 bail.
