CAMDEN – A faith-based outreach group in Camden is in the running for a $25,000 prize in World Mag's Hope Award for Effective Compassion.

Seeds of Hope Ministries — an umbrella organization for She Has a Name, South Jersey Aftercare and My Father's Hands organization — is the Northeast Region contest winner, earning $4,000.

Seeds of Hope and four more groups in the nation are in the running for the $25,000 grand prize.
