Holy Spirit High School, which had averaged 36 points a game in its first three contests, overcame a sluggish start with two second-half touchdowns by Reggie Jean-Charles and slipped past host Delsea 14-7 in a West Jersey Football League interdivision game Friday night.

Delsea (1-3) led 7-0 at halftime on Taj Summiel’s TD reception after the Crusaders recovered a blocked punt.

Jean-Charles ran four yards to tie the game in the third period and added the game-winning 1-yard TD plunge in the fourth.

The Spartans (4-0), No. 12 in the Courier-Post Mean 15, got a key fumble recovery by Joe Porpora midway through the fourth quarter and a fourth-down stop by Justin Figueroa with 2:45 to go.

•Hammonton 30, Bridgeton 28 (3 OT): Sean Ryker’s two-point conversion run following Giancarlo Palmieri’s quarterback sneak for a touchdown in the third overtime proved to be the winning margin for the No. 13 Blue Devils (3-1).

Palmieri’s TD provided a 30-22 lead before Bridgeton scored on Revell Williams’ 14-yard run, but the attempted tying two-point conversion pass failed. Williams finished with 20 carries for 100 yards and Hammonton’s Ronald Gibson posted 17 carries for 126 yards.

Hammonton’s Victor Solis-Mays, who earlier returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD, scored the final points in regulation with 6:02 to play. Bridgeton’s Markquese Bell collected 253 yards on 31 carries.

•Lenape 14, Seneca 0: JoJo Kellum ran for touchdowns in the second and third quarters on his way to a 114-yard rushing performance to spark the No. 8 Indians (4-0).

Kellum, who carried the ball 15 times, scored on runs of 15 and 7 yards.

•Rancocas Valley 28, Washington Twp. 25: The Red Devils’ Iverson Clement and the Minutemen’s Colin Meintel scored three touchdowns apiece before the No. 7 Red Devils (4-0) escaped with a thriller.

Rancocas Valley trailed 14-7 late in the second quarter before Clement shook loose for scoring runs of 28, 4 and 19 yards to provide a 28-17 advantage. Clement had 98 yards rushing in the second quarter, including a 4-yard TD run with 30 seconds left.

Meintel’s last TD closed the gap to 28-25 with 5:14 to play.

•Moorestown 27, Northern Burlington 7: Zion Howard and Brandon Outlaw registered two touchdowns apiece for the Quakers (2-2).

Outlaw and Howard each caught a TD pass from Brian McMonagle, and Howard also had a 13-yard TD run and an interception in the end zone late in the first half that ended a Greyhounds’ scoring opportunity.

•Holy Cross 26, Florence 20: Jean Carlo Berrios highlighted the Lancers’ (2-2) success by running for 173 yards and three touchdowns against the Flashes (1-2).

The game was tied at 14-14 when Jeff Undercuffler threw a 37-yard TD pass to Mike Siwak with 2:15 left in the first half. Berrios later added a 52-yard score for Holy Cross’ final points.

•Collingswood 24, Buena 0: The Panthers (2-1), coming off a bye week, blanked the Chiefs (2-2) with a solid defensive effort. On offense, Robert Upshur, Michael Taulane and Jovon Allie ran for touchdowns.

•Cinnaminson 51, Glassboro 18: The No. 15 Pirates (4-0) broke open a close game with four third-quarter touchdowns.

Rashad Raymond (13 carries, 88 yards) scored three TDs and Shaun Davilla (12 carries, 72 yards, 8-of-11 passing) chipped in with a 40-yard TD pass to Andrew Goshine and a 4-yard keeper for a score.

•Burlington Twp. 40, Hightstown 0: After a scoreless first quarter, the Falcons (3-1) erupted for four second-quarter TDs, including Rahdazion Powell’s 40-yard dash to the end zone with an interception.

Sirvon Wigglesworth piled up three touchdowns, scoring on runs of 1 and 5 yards, and racing 64 yards with a fumble. Nasier Brister also had a big play with an 87-yard kickoff return to start the second half and Drew Price contributed 128 rushing yards by halftime.

•Paul VI 24, Notre Dame 7: Isaiah Jones raced 50 yards to the end zone after picking up a blocked punt, highlighting the Eagles’ success. Erick Robertson blocked the punt.

•Oakcrest 21, Overbrook 20: Overbrook scored a fourth-quarter TD but the ensuing two-point conversion attempt failed, allowing the Falcons to escape with a win. Yaier Hinton scored twice for Oakcrest.

•Millville 22, Williamstown 14: The Thunderbolts (3-1) scored twice in the second half to overcome a 14-6 deficit.

Marcial Ramos’ 9-yard TD run tied the score before Ramos’ only completion of the game went to Carlton Lawrence with the game-winning 19-yard TD. Ramos ran for 116 yards and Clayton Scott added 118 on 24 carries.

Williamstown’s (1-3) J.C. Collins ran for one score and threw to Victor Ruggiano for the other.

•Gloucester 14, Burlington City 0: Nate Kidd completed 10-of-17 passes for 116 yards and the game’s two touchdowns. Kidd, who also ran six times for 30 yards, hit Shayne McCabe and Sai’mere Colon with TD tosses, and Jack DeBenedictis led the Lions’ running game with 100 yards on 26 carries.

•Pleasantville 50, Pitman 7: The Greyhounds (2-1) got one TD each from seven players, including Le’Quai Athill, who ran for a score and also threw a 44-yard TD pass to Tay’shon Evans.

•Vineland 49, Cumberland 13: The Fighting Clan is 4-0 to start a season for the first time since 2003 as Isiah Pacheco threw for 100 yards, and a running game produced five players with at least 25 yards apiece, including Cash Phillips and Daivon Seymore with two TDs each.
