Moorestown school bus driver arrested for child porn

Robert Lynch, 55, of Gloucester Township was arrested for child porn, officials said. He is a school bus driver in Moorestown.

GLOUCESTER TWP. - A 55-year-old school bus driver for the Moorestown School District and Moorestown Friends School was charged with possession of child pornography, officials announced Friday.

Robert Lynch of Gloucester Township was charged with third-degree possession of child pornography and was released on his own recognizance, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle said.

Lynch was taken into custody Friday morning after the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his home, the prosecutor’s office said.

Law enforcement officials said an onsite forensic preview of the digital media devices at his home on the first block of Austin Avenue confirmed the presence of child pornography.

The Gloucester Township Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office, and the Gloucester Township Special Response Team all assisted with the arrest.

Lynch’s employer was notified of the arrest by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
