Girls’ basketball roundup: Tuesday, Jan. 17

C.C. Mooney tallied seven of her team-high 11 points from the free throw line to help the Haddonfield High School girls’ basketball team – No. 3 in the Courier Post Mean 15 – to a dominant 50-25 win over rival Haddon Township on Tuesday in Colonial Conference action.

Annie Stanton and Meghan Smart each scored 10 points for the Bulldawgs, who improved to 10-0 on the 2016-17 campaign.

Grace Marshall scored a game-high 18 points in the loss for the No. 15 Hawks.

• Overbrook 48, Paulsboro 42: Danielle Schaw and Alyssa Cavallaro each scored a team-high 15 points in the victory for the Rams. Schaw added eight rebounds and a pair of blocks. Aniyah Bagby finished with a game-high 23 points in the loss.

• Sterling 53, Gateway 31: Taylor Carter deposited a game-high 17 points and Latanya Berry added 10 for the Silver Knighs. Erike DeJohn scored a team-high 15 points for the Gators.

• Collingswood 31, Woodbury 17: Bobbi O’Neill scored nine points and added 12 rebounds, while Dominique Hunt also scored nine points for the Panthers.

• Audubon 46, Lindenwold 7: Jacqueline Panico led all scorers with 12 points in the win. Emily Denges and Gabby Bobo scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Green Wave.

• Haddon Heights 48, West Deptford 32: Three Garnets finished in double figures with Ashley Reynolds leading the charge with a game-high 16 points. Alex Pease had 12 points and Kiersten Pease added 10 for No. 11 Haddon Heights. Jess McMichael led West Deptford with eight points.

OLYMPIC

Shawnee 56, Cherry Hill West 24: Lauren Lodge posted a game-high 11 points and Ciana Viccharelli chipped in with nine in the Renegades’ victory. Reilly Donnelly had a team-high 8 points for the Lions.

• Lenape 70, Timber Creek 32: Kendell Keyes scored a team-high 14 points, while Nevaeh Sutton and Emily Breuninger had 13 apiece for the Indians – No. 10 in the Mean 15 rankings. Jazmine Carter finished with a game-high 23 points in the loss.

• Bishop Eustace 57, Camden 17: Sophia Cross led a balanced Crusaders offensive showing with 10 points in the win. Sammi Dabbundo and Lauren Punk each had nine points for Bishop Eustace.

• Cherokee 55, Eastern 34: Isabella Therien led the way with a game-high 20 points for the Chiefs, the No. 4 team in the Mean 15. Ava Therien added 10 in the victory as Cherokee improved 9-1 on the season.

• Paul VI 85, Woodrow Wilson 41: Carly Stroemel scored a game-high 21 points and Aliyah Stephens totaled 15 the ninth-ranked Eagles cruised to victory. Tierah Bush had 11 points for the Tigers.

TRI-COUNTY

• Woodstown 57, Penns Grove 27: Paige Caldwell scored a game-high 18 points and Charlie Baldwin added 10 for the Wolverines. Natrice Reed led Penns Grove with 13 points.

• Williamstown 38, Cumberland 36: Ty’Nayjah Pong led a host of Braves scorers with 12 points. Alyssa Donato had a game-high 15 points in the loss.

• Highland 43, Clearview 36: Ayanna Bey scored a team-high 17 points to go with 15 rebounds as the Tartans pulled out the victory. Tara Dairo finished with 12 points for Highland.

Jordan Harbaugh scored a game-high 20 points in defeat.

BURLCO

Holy Cross 49, Palmyra 24: Liz Gurba scored a team-high 10 points for the Lancers as they improved to 10-3 on the season. Melisa Hawkins had 10 rebounds in the loss.

• Pemberton 66, No. Burlington 49: Shavonne Smith led the victors with 20 points while Kaitlin Champion finished right behind her with 18 points for the Hornets. Lachelle Colbert put up a game-high 28 points in defeat.

• Rancocas Valley 34, Delran 21: Jaylin Vandunk led a balanced Red Devils offense with eight points. Aurora Ball had seven for top-ranked RV.

NONLEAGUE

• Moorestown Friends 49, Baptist 20: Charlotte Stern finished with a game-high 16 points and Camille Aguilar buried a pair of 3-pointers on her way to a 10-point contest in the win.

• Kingsway 44, Paulsboro 25: Maddie Hahn dropped in a game-high 20 points for the Dragons.
