LACEY - A family dog woke its masters to discover someone had burglarized their home, police said.

A Lakeside Drive South woman told police that, shortly before 5 a.m. on December 9, she had woken to the dog barking, police said.

She found that someone had opened a garage door and that an Xbox game console, Samsung smartphone, bicycle, long board and laptop were all missing form the house, police said.

Township detectives later arrested 20-year-old Frank Marin of Seaside Heights in connection with the crime, police said.
